Xalo — Orbital Command
A physics-based satellite orbit game. Drag to launch satellites from a planet's surface, manage their trajectories using real Newtonian gravity, and build stable orbits before time runs out.
How It Works
Click and drag from the planet to launch a satellite. The direction and length of your drag determines the launch velocity. Once in flight, satellites follow realistic orbital mechanics — gravity pulls them toward the planet while their velocity carries them forward, creating elliptical orbits.
Features
- Newtonian gravity physics — no fake orbits, real F = GM/r²
- 6 satellite types: Standard, Heavy, Light, Solar, Relay, and Cow
- Orbit prediction lines show your trajectory before launch
- Circularization burns to stabilize elliptical orbits
- Real-time multiplayer — see other players' satellites
- Daily, weekly, and monthly leaderboards
- Procedural audio — no sound files, everything synthesized
- Ambient events: UFO encounters, comets, and surprises
- Works on desktop and mobile
Controls
- Click + drag from planet to launch
- Space — manual boost (hold)
- C — circularize orbit
